e-Vidyavahini is a unified ICT platform that empowers the Department of School Education and Literacy, Jharkhand to monitor, measure & transform education service delivery and learning outcomes. e-Vidyavahini is a combination of mobile application and a web portal with advance analytical dashboards and MIS to capture multiple parameters related to school infrastructure, delivery of schemes, learning outcomes, program implementation, academic initiatives, resource management etc. The system enables officials to send/collect multiple surveys and inspection data from the field (panchayat/ward, block, district etc.). “With eVidyavahini, we have not just enabled around 45,000 schools to go digital but created new paradigms in education delivery and enhancing learning outcomes. This mobile first technology application supports more than two lakh concurrent users. To speak of figures, this platform covers a robust learning ecosystem of approx. 70 lakh students and 1.8 lakh teachers across 262 blocks in 24 districts of the state. However the impact of the system has gone beyond these metrics. Using this solution, we have been able to track the performance of Schools, Teachers and Students identify gaps in infrastructure and pedagogical tools, and place funds where they are most needed and improve the quality of education.."
